美國太空人 Scott Kelly 在 國際太空站 ISS 上已經停留了 386 天，兩天前他成為美國太空人在太空連續停留紀錄的第一人。他的任務將一直持續到 2016 年 3 月，屆時他將停留在太空 522 天！超越由俄羅斯太空人 Valeri Polyakov 在 1994~1995 年間於前蘇聯 和平號 Mir 太空站所創下的 437 天紀錄。

而目前的火星任務計畫，單次任務將花費 900 天！ (200 天去程、500 天火星表面、200 天回程)
